Where Is He?

Have you ever asked yourself where is God? Maybe you've been praying about something big in your life e.g God's plan for you, Death of a loved one etc. But God doesn't answer. Even though you pray every night to God to give you an answer, he stays silent?

As humans we rely on our 5 key senses, sight, sound, taste, touch and smell. But as Christians we believe in God who is invisible to all our senses. That's why sometimes we may feel alone, that God is not with us. But our senses are of this world and God is not from this world. That's why we must not rely on our senses and here are 5 reasons.
  • Scientists say that the world is hurling through space even as we speak, but to us, the world seems motionless
  • A doctor says a mark on your body can lead to cancer; But to you it feels harmless
  • An electrician says that broken power lines are dangerously live, But to you it looks dead
  • A mechanic says your car needs oil, But you think that it is not necessary
  • A solider tells you that this area is full of landmines, but you can't see any
These are experts who tell you facts and you believe them.

In Hebrews 13:5-6 it says "Let your conduct be without covetousness, and be content with such things that you have, for he has said, 'I will never leave you, nor forsake you,' so that we may boldly say, 'The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do to me.'"The Bible is what we should trust, not our senses for the words in it are from God himself.

So next time you feel alone and you can't see God, would you rather trust your senses, or the expert?

Make God go with you and bless you
For God is all around us and is alive today
Amen
